Olive is a simple, friendly health companion that helps understand health in a better way .
User can record symptoms manually or by voice and track changes over time discovering trends and correlations that matter. Olive turns everyday health data into clear insights and helpful, personalized articles - so user user can feel informed, supported and in control of his wellbeing.
Users need a simple and trustworthy way to record and understand their health and well-being, because the current apps, which they have used are difficult and do not help them to stay motivated, causing them to stop tracking overtime.
As a user, I want the dashboard layout to be clean and easy to navigate so that I can quickly find what I am looking for.
As a user, I want to see a quick overview of my key information on the home screen so that I can understand my status immediately.
For my healthcare app Olive, I choose 2 research methods: user interview and survey , which were in my opinion the most equivalent. I have created a survey consisting of 10 questions using a SurveyMonkey and user interview consisting of 10 questions conducted with 3 participants.
Goal 1: Discover what features, tools and contents users want to see in their ideal health app. Goal 2: What are the user's goals and motivations in relation to their health and health, tracking app. Goal 3: What the user expects from the health application? Goal 4:What is the user's approach to security and privacy in health app?
I have obtained many valuable insights. I will present in order what proved to be most important for users.
1.Simplicity & Ease- the simple and easy dashboard proved to be the most frequently mentioned point. The user needs an application that is simple in operate, with not many features, which could be overwhelming.
2.Automatization-users also needs more voice recording, as writing of their symptoms with more automatization. 3.Privacy & security- this point has proven to be very important for the user. The user wants to be sure that their data are secure.
4.Motivation- users need an application that will motivate them through reminders and calendar and be interesting through funny, cartoon avatar.
