I'm originally from Poland, where I completed four of five years of Psychology studies at SWPS University in Sopot. Due to personal circumstances, I wasn't able to finish my degree. However, my academic background gave me a strong foundation in human behavior, research methods, and critical thinking.
I previously worked as a nursing assistant in nursing homes and hospitals in Germany. This experience strengthened my empathy, communication skills, and ability to work closely with people in sensitive situations.
Last year, I decided to pursue a new career direction. I chose UX Design through CareerFoundry—a natural transition that combines my psychology background with my interest in understanding user behavior. It allows me to blend analytical thinking with creativity.
My experience conducting tests and working with questionnaires supports my user-centered approach to design. UX Design has proven to be the right choice, and I truly enjoy researching, analyzing, and creating thoughtful solutions.
I recently created my first portfolio project Healthcare App Olive , which is currently in the pre-usability testing phase. Olive is a health application with the option to record symptoms manually or using a voice feature. Is the voice option really a good choice, and will users be willing to use it? We will find out after conducting usability tests.
